Studies have shown that bats can eat up to 1,000 mosquitos a night. That is insane! Why aren’t people turning to bats to help with the pest control then? There are many common misconceptions about bats. People still think they will attack humans and suck their blood. This is not true. Bats are currently facing threatening low numbers now and they need all the help we can give them. Here are some ways you can help their speicies
- Reduce use of pesticides. Bats can be used as a natural way to reduce pests. The more you have the less you need pesticides. The more pesticides you use the more you kill their food.
- Put up a bat house. You can see in our videos we prefer Bat B&B bat house. They are a company that is making it their mission to help repopulate the bats!
- Avoid disturbing bats. Staying out of caves and mines is a big one especially while they are hibernating in winter!
